The PaperPhine studio had hardly any time to enjoy the spring sunshine during the last two weeks because we were so busy preparing customs orders with Paper Twines in Fresh, New Colors.

For instance, the Paper Twines on Small Vintage Bobbins you can see here went to the Netherlands. Where to in the Netherlands? Well, we’ll let you know as soon as they have arrived and can be purchased in the Dutch webstore. We’ve also found lovely brick-and-mortar-stores for PaperPhine’s Paper Yarns and Paper Twines in the US and Australia and the first shippments are already on their way.
We hope you all have a lovely weekend – the whole studio is taking this weekend off and will indulge in some serious ice-cream testing for the warm season that is about to start!

Crocheted Paper Yarn Flower Necklace Finest White Paper Yarn – the flowers dyed in blue hues after crocheting

This is the last entry on our small, blue Crocheted Paper Yarn Flowers for a while – but we promised to show you what would become of them and finally the necklace is finished. As you can see we opted for a asymetrical design. The single flowers were ironed so they were flatter and easier to work with (yes, you can iron paper yarn: “wool” temperature is fine, if your are careful you can also use “cotton”). Then we sew them together with a few small stitches and added a doubled-up fine crocheted paper yarn chain. Springtime may arrive any day now – we’re ready!

The Workshop and Atelier here resembles more and more the Workshop on North Pole – or the Christkindl’s Workhop for those who rather believe in a not-to-be-seen Angle-like gift bringer (Austrians do!).

So we still amuse ourselves with fine paper and paper twines and can only recommend it to all of you who are still looking for some ideas to wrap up their presents and add a personal touch. More Paper Yarns and Twines can be found here

The other topic we’re still playing around with is a bit more personal – the perfect table top for a great Christmas evening with the family… but we’re getting there and luckily there is still some time left.

So many lovely things to add some charm this year’s Christmas table… in the end it will be perfect!

Seeing some blue sky was more of a problem lately so I guess it can’t be denied anymore that summer is probably over for this year. On the other hand autumn can be very beautiful, too (and I’m a big fan of white winter anyway). But at least the weather keept me indoor in my studio to work even more – and the studio turned a bit blue…
